1111 East Olive — EV Stall Mapping & Load Validation
Location: Seattle, Washington
Client: Resound Energy
Location: Seattle, Washington
Project Type: EV Charging Retrofit
PE Stamp: WA PE 55998 • OR PE 108239PE
Project Overview
1111 East Olive required new EV chargers tied into an underground garage with long homeruns and mixed conduit conditions. The goal was to reuse as much existing infrastructure as possible while maintaining acceptable voltage-drop and load characteristics.
Engineering Approach
PNW Electrical Engineering verified stall mapping, panel schedules, and voltage-drop for the longest circuit runs. Existing EV panel loading was reviewed and updated to reflect the new charger configuration.
Key Technical Highlights
- Verified total voltage drop on the longest runs to remain within code limits.
- Stall-to-panel mapping with corrected numbering based on field photos.
- Integration of new chargers with an existing EV panel.
- Use of existing conduits where feasible to control project cost.
Deliverables
- PE-stamped submittal package.
- One-line diagram.
- Voltage-drop report.
- Panel schedules.
- Stall map and layout notes.
- Installation clarifications for the electrician.
